I think, deep down, I screamed too much "Nooo, not now!" every time a relative was "Can you" ah ah. I loved the tension, feeling of being pulled in every direction and not running out of patience added another challenge on top of keeping the peace.
The only roguelike I'll ever play: it took me a couple tries to get all the endings, and I felt so accomplished at that 4th one! The story was so simple but the writing captured the frenzy and annoyance of family events like that. I also found the patience meter really cute because I kept my eye on it the entire time with the thought of "I need to win this game"
Wow, it was harder than I expected to get the four endings and I just wanted to take my shoes off the whole time 😫 really great way of maintaining the feeling of tension and chaos throughout!!
Thanks so much! I knew one ending in particular was hard to get and had considered removing it, but I kept it in the end because it felt right for that path. 😄
